Yummo Choc Smoothie
Hands up who likes Chocolate?!
Well have I got a treat for you!! This delicious smoothie tastes like chocolate….AND is good for you.
Whaat?! I hear you say. Read on…
1 handful of macadamia nuts
1 tbl chia seeds
2 tbl cacao
1 cup milk (I use almond or coconut milk, but whatever you like is fine)
dash of honey (optional: if you like it sweet)
Put it all in a blender and go……
- I like to blend the nuts first (with a bit of milk) to make them creamier and smoother
- Freeze bananas so you always have them on hand – I chuck them in the freezer whole, skins and all (then defrost a little and take the skin off before blending)
This is a great pre-hike snack – I take it with me and have it just before I set off and it keeps me going for ages.
