The Surf Coast Walk – A Treat for Hiker’s Too

There’s been a lot of attention on Bells Beach this weekend, with the Rip Curl Pro being held there once again.

While this section of coast is iconic within the surfing community, it’s also gaining popularity amongst us hikers too. And while Bells Beach is one of my favourite spots on the Surf Coast walk – there are many other gorgeous (and lesser known) spots along the trail too. What’s best – some of these places are quite secluded – meaning that only surfers (and hikers!) get to experience them. Also, now that the Summer crowds have dispersed, it’s a perfect time of year to head on down the coast. From either Geelong or Melbourne, it’s an easy trip down the highway too.
